    Prerequisites for this course

    Participants who want to take the PMP certification test must complete the following prerequisites for both education and professional experience:

    Option1
    • Secondary Education (High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or the worldwide equivalent)
    • Experience in Project Management: 60 months of managing and directing projects
    • Education in Project Management: 35 hours of professional project management education or CAPM certification
    Option 2
    • Education: Four-year Bachelor’s Degree
    • 36 months of project management experience managing and supervising projects
    • Education in Project Management: 35 hours of professional project management education or CAPM certification

    The cost for PMI members is $275. Nonmembers will pay $375.

    Your contact hours, no matter where you get them, should never expire. They may be used to apply for the PMP test at any time, as long as they were obtained prior to application.

    Your PMP exam results will be sent to you immediately after you finish your exam at your allocated test station.
